How quickly does OOS AutoSort move products when they go out of stock?
Within 60 seconds of a product variant going out of stock, OOS AutoSort repositions it to the bottom of the collection. Shopify's inventory webhooks trigger the sort update in real time — you do not need to manually publish or save any changes.
Does OOS AutoSort interfere with my manual collection sorting?
No — OOS AutoSort only moves out-of-stock products. Your manual sort order for in-stock products is preserved exactly as you set it. When a product comes back in stock, it is returned to its original position in your manual sort order.
Does it work with all collection types including automated collections?
Yes — OOS AutoSort works with manual collections, automated collections and smart collections. For automated collections, it overrides the default sort order only for out-of-stock items while respecting the underlying collection rules.
